For this project, the client wanted to cover their outdoor patio with a shade solution that offered protection from the rain and adjustable control over sunlight. We installed a louvered roof system that provided exactly that — allowing the homeowners to manage shade levels while ensuring reliable weather protection.
One of their main priorities was keeping patio furniture dry without the hassle of constantly moving cushions. To solve this, we integrated automatic rain sensors that instantly close the roof when rain is detected.
To further enhance comfort, we also added motorized screen shades on all sides, protecting the space from driving winds and preventing insects from entering.
The clients were extremely pleased with the final result, especially since they had friends with similar motorized pergolas who faced issues with water pooling due to improper drainage design. By pitching the system correctly and addressing potential issues in advance, we ensured this installation performed flawlessly.
